MODÍ Silvarolli

The origin

Born in São Paulo in the 1970s, Modí found in the visual arts a way to understand his role in the human experience. Son of an artisan father and an architect mother, grandson of Italian tanners, Modí continues the artistic vein of his ancestors .

The goal

Modí believes that it is in giving that you receive, so he dedicates part of his profit to help needy institutions. His professional objective is to obtain enough recognition to be able to invert the values, starting to donate 80% of the proceeds from his sales.

The technique

TRANSLUCTIONISM is the poetics developed by the artist that consists of painting on the front and back of translucent acrylic sheets, shaping the paint mostly directly with the hands on the back of the sheet, in the so-called "reverse painting" without the use of brushes.
